Alcona Health Center
Biography
The Owl Health Extension is a collaboration of Oscoda Area Schools and Alcona Health Center, supported through funding from Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). This program is aimed at supporting student health with the availability of on site, medical and behavioral health services. With parental/guardian permission, our licensed behavioral health and medical professionals can provide healthcare that is conveniently located within Richardson Elementary School. This allows for ease of access, fewer disruptions of regular routines and less loss of class time. Commercial insurance and Medicaid plans are accepted and we offer an income based sliding fee program. New patients are welcome!
