SUMMARY:Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Zoning Board of Appeals consists of five members appointed by the Township Board. The ZBA serves as a quasi-judicial body that hears and decides matters relating to the application of the Zoning Ordinance including a variance from an Ordinance standard\, an appeal of a Planning and Zoning Director’s decision\, or an interpretation of an Ordinance provision.The Zoning Board of Appeals meets on the third Monday of each month as necessary at 7:00 p.m. and held temporarily at Robert J. Parks library. \nThe Zoning Board of Appeals consists of five members appointed by the Township Board. Member appointments are for 1\, 2\, or 3 years following their appointment date\, as established by the Township Supervisor. The Township Board is required to appoint/reappoint one third (1/3) of the membership annually with the exception of elected official. Elected official’s term expires with their election term.
