SUMMARY:My Way To Wellness
DESCRIPTION:My way to Wellness is a new online nutrition program for low-income residents of Michigan offered by MSU Extension. It is self-paced\, so you can take it any time that works for you\, from anywhere! The course reviews how to make healthy food choices that works for you\, physical activity\, goal setting\, food safety\, reading a food label\, and more! The course has interactive activities and quizzes to aid in learning. You can also earn up to $60 in fruits and vegetables.  An email\, phone call or text with a link to join will be sent before the class begins. DESCRIPTION:On this episode we are back in Oscoda at the VFW with another amazing line up including nationally touring headliner\, Mike Ball. Along with FOCS regulars\, Jason Vest\, Ronnie Rohrbeck and Steve Kaz. Doors open at 7pm and show begins at 8pm. \nMike Ball – Nationally touring headlining comedian\,Producer of “The Future of Comedy show” OVER 500 Shows Produced\, Winner of Best Event in Midland 2019\, 5 Star Comedian and Top performer (Gig Salad). On FOX & NBC News for charity Endeavors. \nFrom Saginaw\, Michigan all the way to Los Angeles California\, Mike has been carving his way with his unique\, in your face style of comedy. When he first started off he was as an intern for Pauly Shore at The World Famous Comedy Store. From there he started working regularly at the Haha Comedy Club. He did this all while living in the back of his Pontiac Aztec on Venice Beach. Mike has taken all of what life has given him\, and turned it into a comedy act that can be described as tenacious. No two shows are exactly the same! At a Mike’s show you can always expect crowd interaction\, guitar improv\, and hilarious stories about girlfriends\, family\, and friends! \nMike has had the chance to open up for comedy legends Ralphie May\, Dave Landau\, Norm Stulz\, and Rob Little just to name a few. Currently\, Mike is producing the comedy series “The Future of Comedy Show” which is featured in venues across Michigan. \nRonnie Rohrbeck-Ronnie Rohrbeck twenty three years old From Shelby township Michigan. Ronnie jokes about his unique life while living with cerebral palsy and other oddities that he has faced in life. He was a finalist in the Detroit to LA comedy competition and has opened up for Dave Landau. \nSteve Kaz- Aggressively hilarious\, charmingly cheeky\, and undeniably talented\, Steve Kaz is a young comedian who’s been performing around the Midwest since he was 18. He was the Detroit Roast battle winner of 2021 and has performed all across the country on stages like The Comic Strip\, Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle\, and The Denver Improv. Steve’s high-energy comedic style will be sure to leave you rolling in your seat. \nJason Vest is a Chicago based comedian who found comedy after serving 20 years in the military. Jason has performed at Comic Strip Live in NYC\, Comedy Bar Chicago\, Chicago Laugh Factory and Mark Ridley’s comedy castle\, and regularly features for Mike Ball and has opened for several nationally touring comedians. Jason’s high energy performance style is sure to leave you at the edge of your seat.
