DESCRIPTION:The Board of Trustees of the Charter Township of Oscoda will hold a public hearing on a proposed increase if 0.2055 mills on the operating tax mileage rate to be levied in 2023. \nThe hearing will be held on Monday\, September 11\, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at 6000 N. Skeel Avenue\, Oscoda\, MI 48750. \nThe date and the location of the meeting to take action on the proposed additional millage will increase operating revenues from as valorem property taxes 4.58% over such revenues generated by levies permitted without holding a hearing. If the proposed additional millage rate us nit approved the operating revenue will increase by 3.13% over the proceeding year’s operating revenue. \nThe taxing unit publishing this notice\, and identified below\, has complete authority to establish the number of mills to be levied from within its authorized millage range. \nThis noticed is published by: \nCharter Township of Oscoda \n110 S.
