Newman Street closes a couple of hours prior to the start of each Tuesday Night musical performance\, and we encourage all to come early (around 6:30) with your lawn chairs to get a good spot to watch the show. Be prepared to feel the urge to jump and join the other summer street dancers having a great time.\n*The performing groups do receive a small stipend for their performance\, but we also pass around a bucket during the show for good-will offerings. All money collected goes directly to the performers.

Representatives from the Michigan Department of Environment\, Great Lakes\, and Energy (EGLE) and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) will provide presentations and updates. EGLE will provide updates on the status of the Remedial Investigation and two Interim Remedial Actions at the former Wurtsmith Air Force Base\, water quality standards\, and the Oscoda area January monitoring well sampling results.
