DESCRIPTION:You are cordially invited to attend the Official Unveiling Ceremony for our new Military Working Dog Memorial Statue at the Pentagon Service Monument located at the Oscoda Veterans Memorial Park on August 27 at 1pm. \nWe will Officially Unveil the New Military Working Dog Memorial Statue. This is a life sized statue of a Military Handler and his K9 Companion. This statue simulates the handler sitting down pouring water from his canteen into his helmet with his dog beside him waiting to get a drink. The statue is carved out of granite. We will have guest speakers\, a musician\, several Handlers and a working K9s from Mission 22 Service Dog organization along with their booth\, Color Guard\, a display by the Michigan War Dog Memorial in South Lyons along with several Handlers and their K9s presenting a 21 second Howling for all Dogs who have passed and more that will be confirmed soon. Bring your lawn chairs if desired. The actual location is at the Pentagon Service Monument in close proximity to the M113A1 Static Display Vehicle.
