In January 1966, Robert Webb Sr. decided to quit his steady job to pursue well drilling. Being born and raised in Hale, he knew that Plain township needed a skilled well driller, so that no one would be left without water. Bob Webb Sr. drilled his first well on April 21st, 1966. Even since 1966 Webb Well Drilling carry a 5 year warranty on the wells that they drill. We have grown a lot since the spudding (hollow rod) rig in the 60s and 70s, and the augur rigs of the 80s and 90s. Today we use two rotary drilling rigs to create sturdy, long lasting wells.
