The Night of Destruction is typically the biggest grandstand event of the week at the Iosco County Fair – frequently filling our grandstands to capacity! This year, the Iosco County Fair Board is making plans for an action filled evening featuring Auto Soccer and School Bus Races! Auto Soccer has proved to be a real crowd pleaser as cars literally play soccer with a large steel ball pushing and hitting the ball around to score points against their opposition and includes large excavators as goalies! Last year’s School Bus Race was a smashing success, so we absolutely had to repeat this exciting event!
Admission $10.00 – Pits $15.00 – Children 5 & under Free

Thursday July 27, 2023:

Come on out to the Livestock Arena for the Junior Market Livestock Auction, staring at 6:00pm! The Junior Livestock Auction supports Ag educational programs throughout Iosco County. Each purchase directly finances and supports individual youth participants who are working to become future agriculture and community leaders. Each youth participant spends 3-9 months and countless hours raising and caring for their livestock projects. Learning responsibility and dedication, as well as animal care and entrepreneurship, will benefit them far into their future.
As a buyer, you help these young participants to finance future animal projects as well as their overall agricultural, general education, and life experiences. Additionally, you receive high-quality, locally sourced food for you and your family to enjoy.
The Horse Pull competition originated back when horses were still used for daily farm work. Farmers would challenge one another to see whose horse could pull the most weight. Since then, horse pulling has evolved into an organized sport with teams of equine athletes. Come on out and watch these beautiful animals show off their strength by hauling a weighted sled! Starting at 7:00pm.
