Official Unveiling Gold Star Family Memorial
September 24, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
This Memorial is made from Black Granite. It is 5 feet tall and approximately 6 feet wide. Guest speakers include Terry Kunts from the Forgotten Eagles doing the Invocation, Carol Johnson from the Department of Michigan Gold Star Mothers, Sara Manke the President of the Department of Michigan VFW State Auxiliary and several others who will be announced as soon as they are confirmed. Bring your own lawn chairs if desired. The actual location will be at the Pentagon Service Monument in close proximity to he M113A1 static display vehicle.
